If a tree falls in the forest and no one hears...

I think this only qualifies as a blog if somebody reads my posts, so I suppose my cozy nook in the information ether is more accurately described as a lame journal with hyperlinks. The hyperlink element excites me greatly.

I love everything about hyperlinks. I love the seemingly endless supply of vaguely related web destinations all tethered together by invisible chords. I love the surprise and discovery, finding out what's behind that blue, underlined text. I even love the word "hyperlink". I sounds so superlative and techie. And we haven't even begun to discuss my favorite hyperlink of all: the self-referential. I can't wait until I have something relevant to link (which may be difficult given the purposeless nature of this blog poorly hyperlinked journal).

Now that I've derailed the introduction post, I had better step away before I get any more carried away with gratuitous linking.
